Breeding rare breeds of poultry for the future

New Site!

Posted by Sierra Jorgensen on December 14, 2010 at 7:07 PM

Hey everyone! this is my new site and I'm really excited to be starting my third year of breeding my birds. I have a lot planned for 2011 and I'm bustling to get ready for the breeding season. All but a couple of the hens have stopped laying and finally some of the geese are grouping into trios. I'm going to build some grow-up pens this winter and another pond for the backyard. If anyone has any tips on that, I'd be happy to hear them. :D

They really are very nice looking geese.
